About the Role
As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of customer relationships, developing new markets, and building long-term relationships with a group of customers. Your goal will be to retain clients for as long as possible. You will be tasked with finding new business opportunities, managing assigned prospects, and working with a combination of accounts. Your responsibilities may include project management, strategic planning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Establish new business and promote inverters, batteries, and solar panels.
2. Develop and promote renewable energy solutions.
3. Design and write project plans and proposals, and present them to users.
4. Serve as the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers.
5. Assist customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share, and in-person meetings.
6. Develop trusted advisory relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
7. Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
8. Communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
9. Forecast and track key account metrics.
10. Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for new and different requests.
11. Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service.
12. Work with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and develop existing client relationships.
13. Liaise between customers and internal teams.
14. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics.
15. Prepare regular reports on channel activities, performance, and outcomes, using data analysis to drive insights and improvements in channel strategies.
Candidate Requirements
Education:
• National Diploma in electrical, sales, business management, or related fields.
Experience:
• At least 3-5 years of proven sales work experience in the solar industry.
• Proven sales record.
• Must have 3-5 years' experience in Distribution.
• Good understanding and knowledge of bid requirements in the solar energy industry.
• Good understanding and knowledge of renewable energy project development process.
Additional Considerations
• Must have own transport.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Good communication skills – written and verbal.
• Professional, self-motivated, and target-driven.
