About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Waste Business Development Manager to join our team at Stratogo. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth, retain existing clients, and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to retain their business and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, competitor analysis, and industry trends
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute sales plans that align with company goals and objectives
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of results
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Waste Management, or Environmental Science
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field in the waste management industry
  • Proven track record of success in sales, including meeting or exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role is R850,000 - R1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical aid, retirement fund contributions, and generous paid time off.
