Strategic Partnership Manager

We are seeking an experienced Client Director to join our M&G Investments team in Cape Town. As a Client Director, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with wholesale clients, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
- Deliver Superior Client Solutions: Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality client solutions, meeting and exceeding client expectations.
- Develop Account Plans: Create and maintain ongoing client-specific strategic account plans, ensuring excellence in understanding client portfolios and industry segments.
- Presentation and Communication: Deliver clear and effective presentations to clients, showcasing investment strategies and products.
- New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your network and commercial acumen.
- Client Due Diligence: Coordinate client due-diligence visits, ensuring seamless execution and timely reporting.
- Postgraduate Degree: A postgraduate degree in finance or a related field (CFA, MBA, or Master's preferred).
- Senior Client-Facing Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of relevant senior client-facing experience in asset management or investment consulting.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen and business insight, solid understanding of investment products and the wholesale landscape.
- Exceptional Listening Skills: Exceptional listening skills to understand client needs and goals.
- Collaboration: Collaboration is critical in investment management; fostering a cohesive working environment.
