Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Midrand. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, implementing sales strategies, and managing a team of professional sales representatives.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze data to inform business decisions. You will work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement sales strategies that drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of sales representatives to achieve regional targets.
- Implement sales and marketing strategies to drive growth.
- Establish an environment for future sales growth.
- Direct selling activities within the region, including resource deployment and customer interactions.
- Develop and adhere to a business plan to achieve growth vision.
- Effective management of resources, including money, stock, time, systems, and sales tools.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Key Customers.
- Efficient and constructive customer problem-solving.
- Responsible for forecasting and sales tracking.
- Analyze and report sales data.
- Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information.
- Disseminate information to sales representatives, corporate marketing, and sales operations.
- Coches and develops a professional sales team.
- Provides quality leadership and facilitates creative improvements.
- Sells and teaches others how to sell value and solutions.
Requirements:
- Appropriate tertiary qualification (Medical-related qualification is an advantage).
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and data analysis.
- Previous sales management and hospital/specialist experience are advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Medical Sales Representative in Specialist and GP markets.
- A valid driver's license.
