Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Business Development Executive to join our team at Yellosa. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term partnerships with key retail players.

About the Role
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term partnerships with key retail players.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow the company's retail footprint in Africa.
  • Leverage existing relationships with retail buyers to drive direct sales into major supermarkets and chains.
  • Negotiate and secure high-value deals with national retailers within the first 6 months.
  • Work closely with distributors and partners to optimize supply chain and sales operations.
  • Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and sales forecasts to leadership.
  • Travel across Africa to establish and strengthen relationships with retailers and distributors.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience with proven success in securing retail partnerships.
  • Must have sold directly to retailers in Africa within the past year (Experience older than one year will not be considered).
  • Strong existing contacts with buyers at major retailers across Africa.
  • Experience in mass-market distribution, particularly within large chains and supermarkets.
  • Ability to negotiate and close large deals with major retailers.
  • Willingness to travel across Africa and South Africa.
  • Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
