We are looking for a talented Sales Representative to join our team at MAPEI South Africa. As a key member of our sales department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and revenue expansion within the construction industry.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering sales revenue based on regional sales targets and personal sales targets.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with area customers, new and existing.
  • Maintaining personal trade spend within assigned sales regions.
  • Working closely with internal and external supply chains to promote and demonstrate system functionality and value propositions.
  • Providing technical expertise and advice to the market on Mapei product range advantages.
  • Ensuring effective communication of value propositions both internally and externally.
  • Training customer base on existing products, new products, and value-add propositions.
  • Project management and ensuring follow-through from specification to order.
  • Achieving debt management goals within defined areas of responsibility.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (5+ years) or higher.
  • Experience in sales within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
