Job Title: Sales Manager Renewable Energy Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team at Professional Resources Partners Pty Ltd.

Location: East Rand

Salary: R500,000 per annum plus petrol card and quarterly commission

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional to manage the sales lifecycle of our Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) product. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic relationships with customers and partners, and providing technical expertise to support sales teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of success in renewable energy solutions. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the sales lifecycle of the BESS product, from strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Provide technical expertise to support sales teams in selling the product
  • Effectively manage sales and promotional resources to achieve targeted sales within an agreed period
  • Act as the point of reference for all product-related enquiries and collaborate with colleagues in Product Development & Technical to address any issues that may arise
  • Conduct market research and specify market requirements for current products
  • Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
  • Analyse potential partner relationships for the product
  • In collaboration with Marketing, develop advertising, promotion, and sales aids in accordance with the BESS promotional plan
  • Prepare and present BESS internal reports to relevant executives, sales personnel, and other departments on a regular basis
Requirements
  • Rlevant tertiary degree or work experience is a strong plus
  • Not less than 3 years of relevant sales and business development experience
  • Knowledgeable of renewable energy solutions

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites in Southern Africa.
