Senior Sales Specialist – Battery Energy Storage Systems

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Specialist to join our team and manage the sales of our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) product.
**Responsibilities:**
* Manage the BESS product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
* Provide the sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the product.
* Effectively manage sales and promotional resources to achieve targeted sales within an agreed period.
* Act as point of first reference for all product-related enquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues in Product Development & Technical to address any issues that may arise.
* Specifying market requirements for current products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
* Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
* Analysing potential partner relationships for the product.
* In collaboration with Marketing, responsible for the development of advertising, promotion and sales aids in accordance with the BESS promotional plan.
* Responsible for preparing product forecasts, and constantly monitoring the market for tenders, enquiries and other sales opportunities.
* Prepare and present BESS internal reports to the relevant executives, sales personnel and other departments, on a regular basis.
**Requirements:**
* Relevant tertiary degree or work experience is a strong plus.
* Not less than 3 years of relevant sales and business development experience.
* Knowledgeable in the BESS industry.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ensures consistency and accuracy of message
* Delivers unified, consistent brand message to all stakeholders
* Supports teams with valuable, targeted programs to drive business
* This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites in Southern Africa.
