Key Accounts Manager

**Primary Purpose**
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers taking full accountability for the customer at operational levels whilst taking accountability for customer contact in accordance with applicable internal policies and procedures.
Actively support the team in planning, reporting, vehicle replacement program, the resolving of queries and general administration around a key customer base. Customer retention will remain the core focus of this position and will further involve reporting and presenting at an operational level as well as Debtors Account Management.
**Minimum Requirements**
**Qualifications**:
- Matric
- Diploma/Degree in Public Relations/Business Management
Experience
- 3 Years' experience in relevant field.
Competencies
- Confident, competent self-starter, initiative
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Deadline and results/target driven with a high attention to detail.
- Market and Customer orientated.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to influence and negotiate.
- Work well under pressure and manage stress effectively.
- Good commercial and business acumen with the ability to forecast problems and identify possible preventative measures.
- Advanced MS Office Suite
- Fluent in English
- Driver's license a pre-requisite
**Duties and Responsibilities**
REPLACEMENT PROGRAM/RETENTION
- Actively manage the Vehicle Replacement Program thereby achieving the set targets. This will include but not limited to the following:
1. Timeous quoting
2. Ensuring the accurate and timeous approval of quotes
3. Customer consultation
4. Database Management
5. Ensuring that all quotes are processed timeously to procurement for asset ordering.
6. Managing the flow of information to all stakeholders in terms of the order status of the asset.
REVENUE GENERATION
- Actively prospecting clients to secure new fleet services to increase profits in the following fields:
1.Finance
2.New and Used Vehicle sales.
3.Insurance
4.Full Maintenance Leasing
5.Maintenance contracts
CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Ensure customer needs are attended to and actioned timeously.
- Ensure high levels of urgency in attending to customer problem and queries.
- Communicate regularly with clients.
- Actively manage the replacement program to achieve set objectives.
- Weekly reporting (Quality Call Agenda) and owning the data produced.
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver services in accordance to the expectations of the organization
- Ensure adequate level and quality of service delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure adequate speed of responsiveness, reaction time, going the extra mile, turnaround time.

- To inform all relevant people of changes and developments in your individual client base.

ADMINISTRATION
- Weekly and monthly reports.

- Daily management of replacement Program and the outstanding stock list.

CONTRACT AND ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- Retain and grow existing customer base by strengthening and expanding relationships.
- Actively work with the client to identify strategic opportunities and operational cost efficiencies.
- Interact with clients to obtain financial material e.g. AFS, Bank Statements, Debtors lists, Management accounts, cash flow budgets etc.

- Assist with all interdepartmental challenges in order to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly production performance results.
- Ensure effective reporting to applicable stakeholders across the channels and segments
- Mine customers portfolio data to identify opportunities for additional business and increased facilities.
- Maintains ongoing knowledge of portfolio performance to ensure corrective actions can be taken early.
- Prepare and motivate Pre-Credit Forum and Credit Committee papers where applicable.
- Ensure that all customer engagements are logged correctly and ensures cross selling opportunities are identified.
