Job Description

We are searching for a dynamic, resilient Insurance Sales Consultant to promote and grow sales in the Northern areas of Cape Town.

The primary objective is to sell and provide high visibility and support to increase volumes for our clients distribution channel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow company sales via intermediaries.
  • Promote products to the insurance industry.
  • Provide ongoing product information to a portfolio of brokers, administrators, and underwriters.
  • Implement and manage incentive programs and marketing opportunities.
  • Regular training to insurance intermediary staff on all company products and services.
  • Weekly and monthly reports to monitor portfolio performance and track trends within the industry.
  • Achieve set monthly and yearly targets.
  • Attend after-hours functions when required.
  • Attend to necessary administration tasks.
  • Identify new business opportunities for the company.
  • Foster process improvements by engaging with internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • MATRIC certificate with at least 5 years of face-to-face sales experience.
  • Good relationship building and communication skills essential.
  • Relevant broker, underwriter, insurer, or insurance qualification/experience advantageous.
  • Established connections/networks within the insurance industry beneficial.
  • Excellent presentation and training skills.
  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Sales and goal-driven.
  • Able to work within a team.
  • MS-Office proficiency.
  • Valid driver's license.
