Insurance Portfolio Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Commercial Sales Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing and developing our business insurance portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain a strong client base through effective communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
- Prospect for new clients, identify business opportunities, and develop sales strategies to achieve revenue growth.
- Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations, provide solutions to clients, and sell OUTsurance short-term products aligned to their needs.
- Develop and implement personal business plans, track progress, and measure performance against targets.
- Provide on-going service and support to individual clients, including amendments, renewals, and claims.
- Retain existing business, including renewal discussions in line with FAIS regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriting, actuarial, claims, and surveying teams.
- Adhere to quality standards and measures in place.
- Matric or National Senior Certificate qualification.
- FAIS credits or full insurance qualifications, depending on DoFA requirements.
- RE5 qualification, depending on DoFA requirements.
- Valid code B driver's license and reliable transportation.
- 3 years of external sales experience.
- Strong communication, numerical, and mathematical skills.
- Self-starter, confident, and enthusiastic individual with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent relationship management skills.

The Commercial Sales Specialist will report directly to the Regional Manager and work closely with the wider Face-to-Face Distribution team.
