Technical Business Development Manager

Staff Solutions Recruitment is seeking an experienced Technical Business Development Manager to join our team.
This is a dynamic role that requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, sales expertise, and business acumen.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by successfully promoting technical products and services.
They will also be responsible for managing direct reports, including Technical Sales Personnel and Technical Service Personnel.
Maintenance of relationships with relevant RBU's in Germany HQ is essential.
A strong working relationship with dedicated Direct Customers and Distributors must be developed.
Technical support will be provided to Direct Customers and the distribution network as required.
Planned calls to all distribution branches on a monthly basis are necessary.
Visits to cross-border customers on a quarterly/discretionary basis are also required.
Providing Industrial Management with relevant information collected during duties is crucial.
Responsibility for stockholding, area mapping, plant mapping, and sector mapping also falls under this role.
Sales figures must be reported on a monthly basis.
Salesforce (CRM 360) maintenance and reporting are also essential tasks.
This role involves actively identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
In terms of qualifications, the ideal candidate should hold a Technical University Degree or National Senior Certificate or Technical Matric with minimum 4 years' work experience in the industry.
Extensive knowledge in OEM/MRO and industrial sales channel environments is necessary.
Business acumen to identify and pursue business opportunities is also required.
The ability to relate/interact at all levels within customer/sales partner organisations is essential.
Sales and sales management experience, as well as technical bearing and engineering experience, are also necessary.
The successful candidate must be prepared to work away from home for extended periods and travel overseas for training for extended periods.
