OverviewThis key role is responsible for driving business expansion by devising and implementing innovative sales strategies to attract new clients, overseeing client relationships, and maximizing sales to achieve our business objectives.
Estimated Salary:R30,000 per annum, excluding commission
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be accountable for the following key responsibilities:
- Developing new opportunities and acquiring new customers to drive sales growth
- Negotiating contracts and pricing to win new business
- Maintaining accurate records of all business development activities
- Prospecting for potential clients using platforms like LinkedIn and conducting market research
- Managing and tracking leads, creating proposals, and presenting to clients
- Recommending solutions to any difficulties faced by the clients
- Identifying current market trends and suggesting product enhancements
- Researching competitor products and sharing insights with the team
- Meeting or exceeding agreed sales targets
- Performing live demos and training for new and existing clients
- Handling system implementation, training, and account management
- Developing strong relationships with clients and influential people in the industry
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within FMCG industries
- Previous experience in software sales would be advantageous
- Strong interpersonal communication, relationship building, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent sales execution and client management abilities
- Detailed-oriented and possesses strong administrative capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- A valid driver's license is required
