Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at PMG Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to oversee payroll processing, manage employee onboarding and offboarding procedures, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
About the Role- Process payroll, including salary calculations and payslip distribution;
- Manage employee entrance and exit processes, including contract management and induction programs;
- Oversee staff purchases and commission/incentive programs;
- Conduct random staff assessments and monthly/periodic performance evaluations;
- Recruit and hire new employees;
- Liaise with labor consultants and manage disciplinary processes, including warnings, hearings, and CCMA cases;
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, including SETA, WCA, and DOL regulations;
- Implement and maintain payroll and HR IT systems;
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to payroll and HR;
- Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations, including SETA, WCA, and DOL requirements;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels;
- A strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and payroll software;
- A competitive salary of R180,000 per annum;
