Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Metso Outotec. This role will focus on delivering improved customer satisfaction levels and driving profitable business growth from allocated sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for delivering improved customer satisfaction levels through effective relationship management and lead generation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing support and guidance on areas of improvement and optimizations.
  • Drive profitable business growth from allocated sites by identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key personnel at customer sites, sharing leads and collaborating to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12) qualification or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng / BSc).
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience working on concentrator plants or in sales/account management.
  • Proven track record of success in a customer-focused environment, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Sales Force, Microsoft Office, and Power BI.
