Regional Operations Manager – Retail Division

Key Responsibilities:

As a Regional Operations Manager, your primary focus will be on operational management and compliance. You will ensure the smooth operation of multiple retail outlets within your assigned regions. Below are your core responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Performance Oversight:
    • Monitor and evaluate the sales performance of all retail locations within your jurisdiction.
    • Review weekly and monthly sales analytics to identify growth opportunities.
    • Collaborate with store leaders to formulate actionable plans to meet sales targets.
    • Implement strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and achieve objectives.
  • Staffing and Human Resources Support:
    • Create staffing schedules that reflect budgetary constraints and customer demand.
    • Assist store leaders with HR-related issues, including hiring, scheduling, and employee relations.
    • Encourage a positive workplace culture by fostering employee development and engagement.
  • Operational Management:
    • Serve as a key contact for store leaders in addressing operational challenges and resolving issues efficiently.
    • Ensure that all retail locations adhere to company policies and operational guidelines.
    • Oversee maintenance tasks for stores, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
  • Compliance and Auditing:
    • Conduct thorough compliance evaluations of retail locations, focusing on financial management and cash handling.
    • Work with Human Resources to ensure comprehensive compliance audits are conducted.
    • Uphold health and safety standards to protect both employees and customers.
  • Brand Consistency:
    • Ensure a cohesive and recognizable brand image across all retail locations.
    • Collaborate with visual merchandising teams to maintain brand standards.
  • Market Awareness and Adaptation:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and advancements in retail management.
    • Adjust strategies to meet evolving market conditions and consumer preferences.

Qualifications:

To thrive in this position, candidates should possess:

Experience: 3-5 years in retail management, including process improvement, project oversight, workforce scheduling, and compliance audits.

Education: National Diploma in Retail Management or Business Management.

  • Moderate proficiency in Excel for scheduling and reporting.
