Job DescriptionThe primary role of this position is to provide technical support to clients across various regions. This includes:
- Reporting incidents and issues to clients in writing, ensuring accurate records are kept for future reference;
- Preparing and submitting warranty claims on behalf of clients;
- Providing telephonic and on-site support to customers, addressing their concerns and resolving technical issues promptly;
- Maintaining internal sales channels by providing technical assistance to colleagues;
- Ensuring compliance with ISO requirements;
- Commissioning new equipment and evaluating problem-solving techniques for complex applications;
- Responding to breakdowns and attending to them efficiently;
- Traveling extensively, including after-hours work, cross-border support, and occasional overnight stays;
- Assisting with inventory management and warehousing activities;
- Generating customer quotes when required;
- Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Manager.
This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, control systems, and pneumatics. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in MS Office.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A qualified electrician or technician with an N3 or National Diploma: Electrical Engineering qualification;
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in control systems;
- A valid driver's license;
- Familiarity with control systems electronics and/or pneumatics;
- Proficiency in MS Office;
- Excellent people and written communication skills.
