Job Description

This is a role that plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our mail hub. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and possess a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, record, open, and sort mail in an efficient manner.
  • Courier collection from designated areas and ensuring timely dispatch of mail.
  • Create patch codes for received mail and maintain accurate records.
  • Distribute mail to the relevant recipients and print registration packages for dispatch.
  • Dispatch outgoing mail using appropriate modes (courier, registered post, normal post) and track shipments to ensure delivery.
  • FOLLOW UP ON DISPATCHED SHIPMENTS AND ATTEND TO PROBLEM SHIPMENTS WITH URGENT MATTERS TAKEN CARE OF FIRST.
  • Document retrieval and data entry into the EBS and OSVC systems.
  • Prepare documents for scanning and quality assure scanned documents for offsite storage.
  • Handle all telephonic and email inquiries professionally and efficiently.
Requirements

The successful candidate will hold a Matric or equivalent qualification with advanced computer literacy. 1-2 years of experience in a similar environment are preferred. Key competencies include ability to work under pressure, good communication and typing skills, and proficiency in computer systems.

Estimated Salary Range

R165,000 - R185,000 per annum based on qualifications and experience. This salary range is based on industry standards and job requirements.
