Coordinate and oversee procurement activities, ensuring alignment with internal controls, including procurement policies and USAID regulations. Manage large contracts, support district and centralized procurement processes, and review request-for-quotes for APACE Program deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage large contracts with HQ support, engage with suppliers (e.g., Avis, Seekers, Bidvest).
- Coordinate monthly cost share reports for district-based trainings.
- Facilitate procurement coordination across program teams.
- Lead supplier contract negotiations.
- Monitor the procurement dashboard, Purchase Requisitions, and compliance in FINovation.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities for cost savings.
- Execute major procurement initiatives, ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Provide training on procurement processes to staff.
- Update procurement tools and supervise Procurement Officer(s).
- Review and expedite PRs in FINovation.
- Analyze specifications, quotations, and spend reports.
- Provide weekly reports on departmental, district, category, and supplier spend.
- Bi-weekly progress reports on major procurement projects.

Qualifications:

- Essential: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Desirable: CIPS, ELA, SAPICS qualifications; Membership in professional bodies (CIPS, SAICA); Honours degree.

Experience & Skills:

- Minimum 3 years in procurement or supporting supply chain processes.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong communication, sourcing, negotiation, project management, and organizational skills.
- Minimum 1-year experience supporting a procurement lead role.
