This is a LIVE-IN position.
**Description**:
**Description & Responsibilities**
- Manage the entire reservation function, including telephonic and online reservations.
- Communicate and coordinate guest requests with relevant staff.
- Handle administrative duties related to all reserve activities and reservations.
- Perform stock control, quality checks, and unit/room preparations.
- Strive to meet and exceed targets.
- Adhere to reserve rules and protocols.
- Reception and welcoming of guests.
- Plan and execute guest relations and unique experiences.
- Catering for functions and normal bookings.
- Keep accurate records of all documents.
- Liaise with the company regarding projects, functions, guest bookings, and requirements.
- Coordinate functions as needed.
- Entertainment of guests during unorthodox times.
- Certain bookkeeping records and reports as instructed by management.
**Labour**
- Monitor all staff.
- Manage time sheets and overtime.
- General administration.
- Provide monthly reports.
**Hospitality / Guest Relations**
- Reception and welcoming of all guests.
- Presentation and brief of the game farm to guests.
- Attend to guests’ reasonable needs and entertainment.
- Plan and execute all guest relations and unique experiences.
- Front house reception.
- Catering for functions and bookings.
- Ensure indemnities are signed by guests.
- Keep records of all documents signed by guests.
**Lodge Management**
- General maintenance and upkeep of lodges.
- Purchasing and distribution of cleaning materials.
- Purchase equipment as per requests.
- Catering if required.
- Maintenance and upkeep of all properties.
- Internet marketing and bookings.
- Ensure neatness of properties.
- Receive and attend to guests and owner’s needs during visits.
- Garden maintenance and monitoring.
**Requirements**:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a 5-star luxury lodge environment (Essential).
- FOH department experience, including check-ins, hosting, and guest interaction (Essential).
- Excellent English language skills.
- Well-groomed appearance.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Contactable references.
- Valid driver’s license (Essential).
- Excellent verbal communication and memorization skills.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
