Front Office Manager

**This 5* boutique hotel situated in the Cape Winelands is seeking an experienced Front office Manager to fulfil the following responsibilities**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensuring guest satisfaction in all aspects of the guest experience.
- Duty management and guest liaison.
- Maintaining front office standards and operating procedures.
- Achievement of budgets and cost controls for the front office.
- Ensure the team have excellent knowledge of services offered on the property and within the area.
- Training, development, and leadership of the team
- Maintain a harmonious relationship between the front office team and other departments on the property
- Reconciliation of guest charges, deposits, and commission
- Completion of all necessary admin including guest feedback and month-end reports, weekly forecasts, and day sheets.
**Requirements**:
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or similar
- Previous experience in a similar position within a 5* hotel
- Excellent customer service
- Budgeting, procurement, and cost control
- Strong people management and coaching skills
- Strong hosting skills and comfortable engaging with guests
- Excellent communication skills (team, management, and guests)
- Results and standards orientated
- Works with passion, pride, and ambition
- Proactive and committed to the businesses’ interests
- Committed to service excellence and guest satisfaction
- Flexible manner adapts quickly
- Works under own initiative
- A team player with the ability to work independently
- Excellent organisational and admin skills
