Front Office Manager

Situated in the heart of Stellenbosch Wine Country, this beautiful boutique hotel and guest estate offers panoramic views of the breath-taking surrounding mountains and vineyards.
We are in search of a highly polished and sufficiently experienced FRONT OFFICE MANAGER to take on responsibilities for Front Desk Reception, Concierge, Guest Relations, Admin & Finance at this small boutique hotel in the winelands.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
At least 4 - 5 years relevant experience in a 5-star operation
Hotel / Hospitality management qualification or similar managerial training is essential
Valid unendorsed SA driver’s license essential
PMS Front Office Systems skills such as OPERA is essential.
**SKILLS REQUIRED**:
Knowledge of front of house, financial and billing procedures
Excellent communication skills - with guests and fellow staff members
Computer Literate: Microsoft Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Outlook; Pastel
Good organisational and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills; ability to make decisions quickly, adapt to changing circumstances, and find effective solutions to issues that may arise
Lateral thinking ability with effective leadership & management skills, a team player who leads by example
Exceptional attention to detail and levels of accuracy and someone who takes initiative
Strong personality and negotiation skills
Professional, courteous, hospitable to guests
Must be able to cope under pressure to meet guests needs
Honest, proactive and driven personality
Evening duties often required to cover for guest arrivals as well as meeting with corporate clients & wedding clients
