Office Administrator

Job Description:
My client, a leading provider of solar water heating solutions in South Africa, specializing in cutting-edge solar technologies, is looking for an Office Administrator that is a highly organized, logical thinker with strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will work closely with the management team and thrive in a structured, detail-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:- Handle the day-to-day administration of the office.
- Assist clients with quotes and directing them to the appropriate sales or technical staff.
- Record keeping (Client, supplier and stock).
- Ensure smooth logistics between suppliers, customers and management.
- Invoicing clients, processing payments, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Stock management - Tracking Inventory Levels, Ordering and Reordering, Warehousing, Forecasting Demand)
- Customer service and Communication
- Work closely with Management
Requirements:
- Fluent in Afrikaans & English
- Strong Administrative skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Focused and responsible
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Diploma or degree would be advantageous
- Stock Management Experience - (Inventory Control, Stock Taking, Supplier Co-ordination, Stock Forecasting, Warehouse Management, Cost Control)
- Minimum 5 years experience in an administrator and stock inventory role with contactable references
- Matric with Mathematics no less than 50% for real Math, at least 70% for Math lit
- Must have own reliable car
Personal Attributes:
- Strong logical thinking skills are required, as this role involves working closely with the companys director, who is also their engineer and designer.
- Ability to thrive in a detail-oriented and structured environment.
