**Job Description**:

- The purpose of this role is to provide specialist advice, expertise, coordination and analytical support for broad reward practices, processes and systems to the Corporate office and Global Shared Services (GSS)

**Key responsibilities include**:

- 2IC to the Senior Reward manager for the Corporate Office as well as GSS
- Primary contact for reward advice, guidance and services to GSS and the Corporate office to inform decision making for existing and prospective employees; benchmarking, offers, redundancy calculations
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of annual reward cycles: salary review and bonus nominations, for GSS and the Corporate office employees
- Chair for the Job evaluation committee across five business units within South Africa
- Advise business and HR on grading as well as benchmarks and give guidance on role requirements for all new and changed roles in GSS and the Corporate office
- Manage the integration of employees from other BU’s as and when they happen in processes such as S197’s, ensuring that full reward and benefits aspects are understood as well as plan, cost and manage harmonisation
- Monitor your costs against budget and either address, or advise your manager of, any variances of note
- Identify any opportunities for improved cost management and either address these, or raise them with your manager, as appropriate
- Analysis of external and internal pay data to carry out salary benchmarking of roles in South Africa
- Creation of salary scales and frameworks to ensure the sustainability of reward within the group
- Continuous improvement of processes and policies to ensure best class reward offering to all stakeholders
- Project Management of various reward related projects with the ability to be able to manage from inception to implementation
- Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree
- GRP Certification with professional designation of Reward Specialist or higher

**Technical Knowledge**:

- Reward processes, including job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and total Reward analysis
- Global reward best practices
- SAP or similar ERP systems
- Understanding Reward in large complex multinational organisations
- Success Factors knowledge advantageous
- Proven ability to work responsibly and proactively under own initiative
- Advanced excel
- Solutions mindset with ability to act independently
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
