**Job Description**:
- The purpose of this role is to provide advice, expertise, coordination and analytical support for broad reward practices, processes and systems to GSS and the Corporate office
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Primary contact for reward advice, guidance and services to GSS and the Corporate office to inform decision making for existing and prospective employees; benchmarking, offers, redundancy calculations
- Coordinate the delivery of annual reward cycles: salary review and bonus nominations, for GSS and the Corporate office employees
- Advise business and HR on grading and give guidance on role requirements for all new and changed roles in GSS and the Corporate office
- Manage the integration of employees from other BU’s as and when they happen in processes such as S197’s, ensuring that full reward and benefits aspects are understood as well as plan, cost and manage harmonisation
- Monitor your costs against budget and either address, or advise your manager of, any variances of note
- Identify any opportunities for improved cost management and either address these, or raise them with your manager, as appropriate
- Analysis of external and internal pay data to carry out salary benchmarking of roles in South Africa
- Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree
- GRP Certification with professional designation of Reward Specialist or higher
**Technical Knowledge**:
- Reward processes, including job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and total Reward analysis
- Global reward best practices
- SAP or similar ERP systems
- Understanding Reward in large complex multinational organisations
- Success Factors knowledge advantageous
- Proven ability to work responsibly and proactively under own initiative
- Advance excel
