Job Overview
On Line Personnel is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Development Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to grow your career in sales and take on new challenges.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to meet company targets and expand the commercial client base. You will maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, communicate their value to potential customers, and handle the full sales cycle, including negotiations, contract discussions, and closing deals with customers.

Key Responsibilities
* Prospecting and lead generation: Identify new business opportunities by researching potential clients and building a robust sales pipeline, expanding the customer base and driving revenue growth.
* Client engagement: Initiate contact with prospective clients through calls, emails, meetings, and presentations to discuss their needs and propose suitable business solutions through the company.
* Meet strategic cycle objective: Pre-cycle meetings and the promotion of sales.
* Sales strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet company targets and expand the commercial client base.
* Product knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, and communicate their value to potential customers.
* Negotiation and closing: Handle the full sales cycle, including negotiations, contract discussions, and closing deals with customers, as well as hold ongoing business reviews.
* Relationship management: Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Requirements
* A minimum of Grade 12 qualification.
* Relevant post-grade 12 qualification in sales highly advantageous.
* 3 years' previous working experience within a similar role (pharmaceutical/FMCG).
* Technical skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc).
Familiarity with market research techniques to identify potential customers.
Code 08 license and own transport.
* Sales skills:
Strong knowledge of the sales process, from prospecting to closing.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced sales environments and to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a flexible, challenging sales environment.
* Soft skills:
Excellent communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Good time management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Must be detail-orientated and work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision.
Understanding of sales/marketing/operations/buying/telesales and merchandising is ideally required.
An understanding of numbers and accounting calculations.
