Sales Director

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing our sales strategy, achieving product sales targets, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales plans, budgets, and accelerated growth strategies to drive profitable sales volume and maximize channel effectiveness.
- Lead and direct the sales team, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance skills levels and create a healthy work environment.
- Ensure effective resourcing, development, performance management, and retention plans are in place for the sales team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate sales distribution strategic objectives, plans, and operating models.
- Accountable for establishing a fast and efficient lead management process and ensuring effective risk management and governance of sales.
- Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
- NQF 5 or equivalent qualification and/or FAIS Credits (minimum 30 credits in short-term insurance if date of first appointment is before 2010).
- FAIS Regulatory examination for Representatives (RE5) and (RE1) for Key Individual.
- 5 years' experience in sales (short-term insurance) and 3 years' experience in managing staff in a short-term industry.
- Extensive knowledge of the short-term insurance industry, knowledge in managing a diverse team, and thorough understanding of business principles.
