Sales and Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a passion for closing deals and driving market growth. They will be responsible for assisting the Package Boiler Business Unit in achieving its new boiler orders budget and profitability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining existing and potential customers to solicit enquiries
- Identifying and developing potential markets, customer groups, and industries
- Planning and executing marketing opportunities
- Reviewing customers' specifications and commercial conditions
- Providing technically oriented solutions to meet customer requirements
- Liaising with internal departments such as engineering, drawing office, procurement, factory, services/construction etc.
- Preparing cost estimates and programs, including issuing and adjudicating purchase enquiries for bought-out items
- Preparing commercial and technical proposal documents in line with company procedures
- Following up on tenders, negotiating contracts, and securing orders
- Preparing and issuing order confirmations and hand-over to the Contract Department
- Monitoring market developments for development of the Sales strategy
Required skills and competencies include:
- Strong focus on achieving sales targets and market development, driving success and customer satisfaction
- Ability to interact with customers at all levels of seniority
- Capability to clearly translate customer requirements into technically and commercially strong solutions
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented and excellent communication skills, both verbally and written in English
- Efficiently managing time and prioritizing tasks to maximize productivity and meet deadlines
