Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Business Developer to join our team at Dimension Data.

About the Role

This role involves developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expanding existing accounts, and identifying new business opportunities within assigned geographic territories or product lines.

The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of Modern Workplace solutions and services, as well as solid sales experience in a technology or services environment.

A sound understanding of IT Managed Services and solution-based selling is essential, along with a proven track record of sales over-achievement and experience of selling complex solutions and services to C-Level clients.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve assigned sales targets, expand existing accounts, and identify new business opportunities within assigned geographic territories or product lines.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitors and their strategies, applying competing successful sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Pursue and land qualified leads identified by client managers and other lead generation sources, working closely with internal teams to ensure scope of work and proposals are tracked and managed.
  • Collaborate with senior internal and external people in the specialist area of expertise to network and build relationships that drive business growth.
  • Use NTT Ltd.'s sales methodologies and tools to drive the sales process, developing and implementing opportunity plans to provide regular check-ins with primary points of contact and establish processes for getting buy-in from all stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of solution-based selling, with a proven track record of sales over-achievement.
  • Solid sales experience in a technology or services environment, with a sound understanding of IT Managed Services.
  • Experience of selling complex solutions and services to C-Level clients, with a proven ability to define sales strategy and negotiate beneficial solutions for customers, partners, and the company.
  • Strong business acumen, client engagement and management skills, and sales solution skills.
  • Flexible to adapt quickly to short, new missions or urgent deadlines, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A degree in a technical or sales field is preferred but not essential.
  • Negotiation skill methodologies such as Scotworks, solution selling/SPIN skills, and AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials Training, MS Azure Fundamentals Training, or equivalent certifications are desirable.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
