Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies to support business objectives
  • Manage Skills Development Plans, Annual Training Reports, and ensure compliance with BBBEE and Employment Equity initiatives
  • Facilitate SETA and BBBEE audits, and support managers with recruitment, employee relations, and IR matters
  • Collaborate on workforce planning to meet future business needs
Day-to-Day Activities
  • Work closely with managers to address staffing needs and handle employee grievances
  • Manage data integrity and counsel staff on career development
  • Assist with HR strategy development and advise on employment policies
  • Implement HR systems to support a motivated, high-performance workforce
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources is essential
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR generalist, preferably in the heavy engineering or manufacturing sector with ±150 employees
  • Experience with SAP or Sage People 300 are advantageous
  • Proficiency in MS Office, a proactive approach, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
