Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team at Sci Tech Placements. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth by creating and implementing innovative sales strategies to attract new clients, managing client relationships, and maximizing sales to achieve our business objectives.

About the Role:

This role offers a challenging and dynamic environment where you can make a palpable impact. You will oversee the growth of sales by creating new opportunities and acquiring new customers, negotiate contracts and pricing to win new business, maintain accurate records of all business development activities, and prospect for potential clients using platforms like LinkedIn and conduct market research.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of sales growth through creation of new opportunities and customer acquisition.
  • Negotiation of contracts and pricing to secure new business.
  • Maintenance of accurate records of all business development activities.
  • Prospecting for potential clients via LinkedIn and conducting market research.
  • Management and tracking of leads, creation of proposals, and presentation to clients.
  • Recommendation of solutions to any difficulties faced by clients.
  • Identification of current market trends and suggestion of product enhancements.
  • Research into competitor products and sharing insights with the team.
  • Meeting or exceeding agreed-upon sales targets.
  • Performance of live demo and training to new and existing clients.
  • Handling system implementation, training, and account management.
  • Development of strong relationships with clients and influential individuals in the trade.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within FMCG industries.
  • Prior experience in software sales would be advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, relationship building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent sales execution and client management abilities.
  • Detailed-oriented and possessing strong administrative capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • The ability to travel using your own car.

Benefits:
