We are seeking a skilled Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our team at Network Recruitment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.

Job Description

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Payroll Administrator. As a key member of our payroll department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll functions.

You will be responsible for:

  • Processing payrolls accurately and efficiently;
  • Maintaining records of employee data, including engagement, termination, transfers, and promotions;
  • Preparing reports and files for finance and producing month-end reports;
  • Reconciling medical aid, provident, and other third-party payments;
  • Capturing employee data in respect of engagements, terminations, transfers, and promotions;
  • Importing data;
  • Checking payroll variances;
  • Garnishees & maintenance orders;
  • Filing & scanning;

Requirements and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in accounting or payroll (preferred);
  • 4-5 years' experience in a similar position (essential);
  • Sage 300 People working knowledge (essential);
  • Strong understanding of statutory payments and returns;
  • Payroll accounting and reporting to finance experience;
  • Proficient in MS packages;
  • Deadline driven;
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment;
  • Team player;

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package of R250,000 - R300,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
