Sales and Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team at Green Marble Recruitment Consultants.
About the Role:
- This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional to grow their career in a dynamic industry, working with a well-established company that has a strong presence in South Africa.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a sales plan with the management team, participating in the development of modification products, and leading proposal efforts.
- You will also be expected to direct sales calls and sales development in assigned regions, identify market potential, and provide feedback.
- In addition, you will be responsible for active sales of available, application-specific modifications, regular contact with customers, and developing strategies for improved market penetration.
- Other responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating the activities, products, and pricing of the competition, advising fleet customers and Ford distributors concerning QVM product availability, and delivering sales presentations to key clients.
- As a Sales and Business Development Specialist, you will also contribute to ensuring an excellent sales-oriented website is maintained, prepare monthly sales reports, and assist in other non-vehicle sales of the company's products/services as needed.
- Financial Responsibilities include providing input contributing to the contents of the business plan, budget, and objectives, and ensuring commercially attractive pricing models with acceptable profit margins.
Requirements:
- A minimum of [R 600,000] per annum (negotiable) salary package that includes a competitive base salary, bonuses, and benefits.
- Relevant Mechanical Qualification.
- New Business Development - A successful track record in Technical Solution sales.
- Strong understanding of Sheet Metal.
- Experience in the vehicle modifications advantageous.
- Experience of working with African Markets advantageous.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Self-motivator.
- Knowledge of Dealership Operations a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dynamic and energetic personality.
- Able to mediate and arbitrate on contentious issues.
- Multilingual.
