Strategic Alliance Partnerships Director

The Vice President, Business Development for Strategic Alliance Partners will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of the Entrepreneur's Organization (EO) globally. This individual will be responsible for identifying, leveraging, and closing major institutional partnerships to fuel accelerated growth in the EO ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a comprehensive vision for institutional partnerships to drive meaningful growth in the EO ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Chapter and Committee leaders, as well as existing partners, to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the partnership teams at EO to leverage existing partnerships for member growth.
- Create a shortlist of new organizations to target for potential partnerships.
- Establish discussions at the senior-most level of target organizations to identify mutually beneficial partnership structures.
- Articulate ROI and forecasted results from potential partnerships and sponsorships.
- Negotiate, close, and document partnerships.
- Manage and nurture partner relationships.
- Evaluate and communicate results to the Senior Leadership Team and the broader organization on an ongoing basis.
- Partner with the Marketing & Communications team to deploy internal and external marketing campaigns to maximize partnership success.
- Align with key EO stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for building trust, awareness, and long-term relationships.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in any field.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in seeking out, cultivating, and closing major B2B partnerships to drive growth in a geographically-dispersed and international environment.
- Experience in affinity marketing/business strategy, including global affinity/referral marketing, affiliate and integrated partnerships and sponsorship programs.
- Ability to accommodate global travel and flexible working hours.
- Ability to interact with entrepreneurs with tact, diplomacy, and poise.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A self-starter who desires to show ownership and commitment to the job.
- Exercises confidentiality and discretion.
- Promotes cultural competency and global awareness.
- Establishes relationships proactively and maintains a positive attitude.
- Exceptional communication skills both internally and externally.
