Key Responsibilities
  • Funding Acquisition: Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with international development agencies, embassies, and government entities to secure funding.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Engage with international organizations, including aid agencies and trusts, to foster collaborations that align with our set goals.
  • Regional and Government Engagement: Work closely with local and national governments to ensure alignment and support for projects.
  • Quality Management: Oversee the proposal development and contract management to ensure high-quality submissions.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Masters Level qualification, preferably in biological, conservation or environmental sciences, international relations, or a similar field.
  • Proven track record of at least 10 years' experience in proposal writing and fundraising applications. Specific preference will be given to candidates with experience in engaging with public sector, finance institutions, or fundraising.
