Customer Service Representative

At Black Pen Recruitment, we are partnering with one of the world's largest e-commerce platforms to find a highly motivated Customer Service Representative who speaks German fluently. The company has been a leading player in the e-commerce industry for over 25 years, known for its reliability and trustworthiness.
The role is a 9-month contract with a competitive hourly rate of R 117.35, comprising a base pay of R 67.35 per hour and a language allowance of R 50.00 per hour. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a global e-commerce leader, supporting customers, drivers, shippers, and delivery service partners.
About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity to join our client's team as a Customer Service Representative, providing exceptional support to their German-speaking customers. You will be responsible for answering customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email, using various tools to navigate and resolve issues in real-time. Your primary goal will be to ensure successful deliveries by facilitating communication between delivery stakeholders and gathering intelligence to prevent potential issues that may impact customer experience and delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities- Providing excellent customer service to German-speaking customers via phone, chat, and email
- Using various tools to navigate and resolve customer issues in real-time
- Facilitating communication between delivery stakeholders to ensure successful deliveries
- Gathering intelligence to prevent potential issues that may impact customer experience and delivery performance
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum age of 18 years old
- The right to work in South Africa
- An NQF Level 4 qualification or a Grade 12 qualification or higher
- Strong communication skills in German (both written and oral fluency)
- Proficient computer skills
- The availability to work varying shifts from Monday to Sunday operating within 24 hours
- A willingness and ability to work in rotating shifts (early, late, overnight, weekend, and overtime as required)
- A quiet, distraction-free workspace (dedicated office space with a desk and chair)
- Minimum 20Mbps download and upload speed (ADSL/LTE/WIFI/AirFiber) lines
- 1+ years of experience in an inbound customer service associate role, preferably in a BPO or contact center environment
