Customer Service Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Sales Assistant to join our team at Cape Union Mart International Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, meeting sales targets, and maintaining a high level of store presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Establish a professional relationship with customers, provide friendly and helpful assistance, and ensure that customer complaints and compliments are reported to management.
- Sales Targets: Meet individual sales targets consistently and identify opportunities to increase turnover.
- Store Presentation: Maintain a high level of store presentation, adhere to stock loss controls, and uphold visual merchandising standards.
- Purchase Transactions: Process all purchases, verify and process payments, and scan and pay for outgoing stock/items/scripts.
- Loyalty Cards: Process loyalty cards, including those of accelerated partners, and ensure that customer queries are dealt with and resolved.
Requirements:
- Matric or Equivalent: Minimum requirement.
- Retail Experience: Up to 6 months retail experience advantageous.
- Language: English.
- Citizenship: South African citizen.
Working Conditions: Willing and able to work retail hours.
Desirable Qualifications: 1 year work experience within retail, Microsoft Computer Proficiency, and ability to communicate effectively.
