The Legends Agency is a leading player in the logistics and supply chain management industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Key Account Business Developer to join our team in Durban, South Africa.

As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing channel strategies to expand our market reach and enhance customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing, or a related field, along with a commercial or management degree.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective channel strategies to expand market reach and enhance customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure strategies align with overall business objectives.

Market and Customer Insight Analysis:

  • Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and industry dynamics to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Leverage insights to inform strategic decision-making, optimize business performance, and drive growth.

Strategic Account Management:

  • Manage existing customer accounts with a strategic approach, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth.
  • Develop and implement account plans to maximize customer value and achieve long-term business objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing and sales functions, including managing complex customer relationships.
  • Proven experience in customer-facing roles within logistics or supply chain management industries.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Salary: R 1,200,000 per annum, plus benefits.
