Business Development Manager

At HR Genie, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth strategy in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationships:
    • Develop meaningful relationships with wealth advisors to drive business growth and practice expansion.
    • Sustain a robust pipeline of potential clients and partnerships.
    • Collaborate closely with team members to share knowledge, insights, and best practices.
  • Product Solutions:
    • Work closely with key decision-makers on Product Provider level to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Discuss and provide product information, training, and support structures to clients.
    • Establish relationships with key distribution partners and target market entities.
  • Business Operations:
    • Oversee and coordinate business development initiatives and activities.
    • Ensure timely and accurate reporting and feedback.
    • Recruit Value-Add Financial Advisors within specified criteria.
  • Legal Compliance:
    • Assist in arranging legal agreements between business partners and integrate contract requirements with internal operations.
    • Perform high-level due diligence on Product Providers' processes.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Monitor and report on sales, operations, and profitability metrics.
    • Liaise with financial advisers and address sales/product issues, explaining product details and concepts as needed.
    • Provide feedback on performance outputs and implement management decisions.
    • Ensure timely reporting to advisors on their business growth.
  • Technology Integration:
    • Apply systems and processes to obtain, coordinate, and apply product-specific information using CRM and CIS.
  • Growth Strategy:
    • Drive growth strategy as outlined in VCP.
  • Marketing Initiatives:
    • Facilitate the development of marketing and communication materials and monitor correct application.
    • Assist advisers with marketing activities, discussing possible advantages, and creating/providing target market initiatives.
  • Sales Performance:
    • Ensure revenue, AUA, and GWP growth through advisor business and other advisor-related initiatives.

R850,000 - R1,200,000 per annum
