The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting warranty claims to manufacturers in accordance with standard operating procedures and OEM requirements.

Responsibilities:
  1. Loading all warranty claims on the system
  2. Ensuring control over warranty claim storage
  3. Conducting regular warranty audits
  4. Coordinate warranty parts disposal with RSM
  5. Follow up on warranty claims and payments
Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  2. A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in the automotive service industry, preferably in a technical role or as a service advisor and/or Warranty Clerk
  3. Basic technical understanding and background are essential
  4. Direct experience as a Warranty/Costing Clerk
  5. Relevant OEM experience is highly desired
  6. A valid, unendorsed driver's license and the ability to competently drive
  7. Computer literacy
  8. Knowledge of dealership policies and procedures
  9. Knowledge of competitive motor industry
  10. Knowledge of relevant operating systems would be an advantage
  11. Multilingualism with languages commonly spoken in the area and customer base
  12. General understanding of mechanical/technical terms
  13. Brief knowledge of accounting practices would be beneficial
