Installation & Support Service Desk/ Call Centre

Cape Town, South Africa Platinum POS Full time

This is an operational (90% Call Centre) and onsite support (10% onsite / standby) role, providing remote and onsite technical support to our clients in the Retail and Hospitality Restaurant sector.

Requirements Mandatory:

- Grade 12
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the IT field
- IT qualification is preferable (N+ and A+)
- SQL knowledge of query structure and usage, perform tasks such as update of data or retrieve data from database
- Windows networking experience
- Gained experience in customer service and computer networking
- Experience in hospitality advantage
- Above average and clear communication skills in English
- Problem-solving skills, gained experience in customer service and computer networking
- Work independently at the office/remotely with minimum supervision
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work 24/7 rotational shifts

Highly Preferable:

- MCSA
- Windows 7
- Network Administration
- Network Cabling
- Point of Sale Software and hardware experience
- TCP/IP

Responsibility:
**Duties**:

- Installation of software and related solutions, remotely and on premises
- Perform software and hardware troubleshooting to ensure maximum productivity for end users
- Perform software training for end user, professionally documenting of training sessions, and manuals

**Salary**: Market related, to be negotiated
