Learning and Development Coordinator

The Learning and Development Coordinator will have responsibility for the coordination and administration of a range of learning and development activities and projects in order to support the training goals of the organisation. This role will be responsible for managing company induction, training administration and reporting, liaising with internal and external training providers, annual compliance reporting, and any additional support-related tasks associated with learning and development.
The role will be the first point of contact for learning and development queries and be responsible for all related administration, ensuring a get-it-right first-time ethos is adopted.
**Minimum requirements**:
- At least 5 years of Learning and Development Coordination experience in a software or IT environment.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time under time constraints.
- Proven experience coordinating large company-wide initiatives such as Learnerships, Graduate Programs, and Company Inductions.
- 2 years’ experience with required reporting (WSP, ATR, etc)
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to influence and relate to different cultures and team members from different backgrounds and able to adapt training accordingly.
**Responsibilities**:
**Learning and development support**
- Arranging hospitality, room layout, and equipment for participants attending workshops and events, liaison with trainers, booking training rooms, printing and distributing course materials and ensuring required equipment is available and in working order for the efficient running of all relevant events.
- Establishing systems and procedures to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the training service offering.
- Carrying out research as directed into training providers, new training content, or other training-related information.
- Liaising with line managers and delegates to ensure all staff is booked on required events within agreed timeframes.
- Ensuring evaluation forms are completed and returned for each development event.
- Contributing to the identification of learning and development needs within the organisation through collaboration with the People Team.
- Advising staff on training policies and procedures including resolving or supporting the resolution of problems related to the operation of the learning and organisation development area.
- Managing our annual mandatory training calendar ensuring full completion within targeted timescales and providing timely and accurate updates to people services partners and senior leaders.
- Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with external providers of learning solutions.
- **Projects and events**
- Design and develop training programs (outsourced and/or in-house) in order to meet the training goals of the organisation.
- Responsibility for the coordination and delivery of a range of projects and regular events. This will include producing and keeping updated project plans, arranging meetings, and ensuring systems and processes are established and projects delivered to agreed timescales.
- Co-ordinating the development and delivery of the organisation-wide regular induction events for all new employees, ensuring the content is reviewed and updated continually in line with feedback received.
**Learning and Development administration**:
- Developing and maintaining accurate and easily accessible records and processes for all learning and development activities and processes including recording and monitoring attendance, ensuring that staff required to attend specific workshops are easily identified and followed up.
- Developing and maintaining positive, collaborative working relationships with all staff to sustain the reputation of the people services team as a customer-focused function.
- Raising purchasing requisition orders and tracking of payment on behalf of the people services team.
- Ensuring that confidentiality and security of sensitive information is maintained and complies with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.
- Map out annual training plans for management, HR, customer support and more.
- Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials.
- Maintain updated curriculum database and training records.
