International logistics group are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to work at their operation in Umhlanga Rocks. As an Logistics Coordinator, you will be part of coordinating and managing the movement of cargo across international borders efficiently and cost-effectively. Your role will involve overseeing the entire logistics process, ensuring that shipments reach their destinations in a timely manner and in compliance with international regulations. This is junior to intermediate position.

**RESPONSIBILITES**

1. Order Processing: Assist in the processing of purchase orders, sales orders, and shipment requests. Ensure accuracy and completeness of order information, including cargo specifications, quantities, and delivery instructions, etc.

2. Communication and Coordination: Communicate with internal teams and external partners, such as transporters, warehouse, and customer service teams, to coordinate logistics activities and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the transportation process.

3. Support stock control, including cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth and cost-effective logistics movement.

4. Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling pickups, organizing shipping documents, and verifying receipt of cargo. Collaborate with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of shipments.

5. Data Entry and Analysis: Enter data and maintain accurate records of shipments, trucking or shipping, stock report, and other logistics transactions. Assist in analysing logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

6. Process Improvement: Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving logistics processes, procedures, and systems.

**REQUIREMENTS**

1. Grade 12

2. Diploma/degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics (or similar related field).

3. 3+ years experience in related international logistics or supply chain.

4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

5. Be fully computer literate

6. Have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

7. Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of logistics, with a proactive and positive attitude.

**RUMUNERATION**

R15,000 To R20,000 (Per Month - Negotiable On Qualification & Experience)

Pay: R15 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
