Waste Management Consultant

**Identify Sales Opportunities**
- Identify target Sites through cold calling and various other lead sources including but not limited to internal leads, external leads and relationships
- Identify new portfolios and groups
- Conduct analysis of potential opportunities with potential Customers
- Identify and follow up on leads through referrals, calls that come through the office, data base of clients lost and cold calling
- Develop a call plan based on minimum activity required
- Assess activity requirements and adjust based on your individual hit ratio
**Sales Process**
- Call on prospects
- Explore Customer needs
- Explain value proposition
- Offer services
- Promotion of tenant billing and tailored solutions
- Prepare quote completely
- Prepare and submit quotation/consolidate costings nationally (lead) for approval, with strategy and value add listed
- Prepare additional slides or review of slides on approved presentations for marketing review
- Presenting of service offering
- Tender submissions - checklist, arrange meeting with tender co, communicate with tender co, co-ordination, costing, cover letter, including all standard sales requirements, submission - as per procedure
- Present solution to Customer
- Travel where required
- Obtain and manage O drive of documents including SP rates
- Compare as many SP’s as possible to ensure we are competitive
- Identification of new SPs
- SP vetting as per procedure
- SP loading as per procedure
- Presentation and preparation of exoneration letters
- Loading of all won work through sharepoint
**Customer Service**
- Explore/ investigate referrals
- Check in with previous customers and grow network/portfolios
- **In the first month only**:
- Identify deviations
- Investigate origins of Customer dissatisfaction
- Agree action with Branch Manager
- Recost if necessary
- Ensure invoice is paid
**Administration and Reports**
- Prepare and submit reports - activities, calls, meetings, quotes on CRM platform daily, new business, sales pipeline, and new site start-up
- Meetings:
- Sales meetings
- Webinars
- Company Communications
- Regional Operations
- Reviews
- Submit reports as per Company requirements
**Compliance**
- Compliance with relevant legal prescriptions and constraints
- Compliance with company policy and procedures
- Complies with DWS, statutory and legal requirements by studying requirements
- SHEQR
- Refer Annexure A
- Escalate to HOD’s where relevant
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Experience (the amount of experience in a specific environment at a specific level)**
Matric
5 years outbound sales
Presentation at board level / national contract experience
3 years customer relations
**Waste industry experience**
Onsite preferable
Strong excel
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
