**Job Purpose**:
To manage waste management customers and to increase and maintain revenue for the Business
Branch.

**Key Responsibility Areas**:

- Develop a call cycle plan to maintain current client base and secure new contracts.
- Identify and approach new projects and businesses with a view to secure new contracts.
- Conduct general waste audit.
- Structure contract pricing to compete effectively in an open market environment.
- Develop partnerships with other related businesses to provide combined services to
customers.
- Network extensively at different management levels with decision makers across the customer
business hierarchy structure.
- Distribute promotional items for marketing purposes.
- Ensure refuse removal schedule is current and the customer services are being rendered.
- Compile monthly productivity reports for submission to management.
- Plan, design, maintain and update refuse collection schedule for operational staff to ensure
that the service delivery that has been marketed is achieved.
- Provide advice to clients on waste management for special events.
- Investigate illegal disposal of trade refuse to ensure businesses are contracted to a registered
refuse removal contractor.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification. (NQF Level 6)
- Be prepared to undergo a Peace Officer training course within 6 months of appointment.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- 3 years relevant experience in the field of sales and marketing.

**Preferred Requirements**:

- 4 Years relevant experience.
