MAIN JOB PURPOSE


The Strategic Relationship Consultant is primarily responsible to provide overall support to the Strategic Relationships Manager to maintain and build professional business relationships with strategic partners, representing the product offering of entities within Signa Group, and continuously educate strategic partners on the offerings of Signa Group, generating new business through identifying prospective clients' needs and infiltrating their existing client base for cross-service/solution initiatives.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • BA degree or Marketing diploma and equivalent in relevant experience
  • Business analyst qualification or experience
  • Legal secretary qualification or equivalent in experience/law graduate would be an added advantage
  • Valid /appropriate driver's license
  • 2+ years' experience in Marketing combined with preferably:
  • +-5 years Key Account management, and or 18 months in Business Analyst roles
  • At least a year in a Training organisation/BBBEE advisory environment,
  • At least 18 months in coordinating forums and managing associated company specific communication and documentation.
  • Experience of producing accurate and reliable work in a busy, pressurized environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties include the following:

  • Actively support the Manager of Strategic Relationships.
  • Support and build relationships with Strategic Partners (SP).
  • Represent the product offering of entities within Signa Group and continuously educate Strategic
Partners on the offerings of Signa Group.

  • Explore the needs of Strategic Partners and position solutions to meet the requirements of the SPs.
  • Build relationships throughout the Group with the Sales and other support departments.
  • Coordinate or populate proposals that maintain the integrity of the solution offering and align to document standards.
  • Follow up and support the signing of deals.
  • Maintain a liaison relationship between the SP, client and the delivery partner within Signa Group.
  • Act as the central point of contact on requested proposals.
  • Timeously prepares proposals from all business units upon request from Strategic Partners, Strategic Client and Relationship Custodians
  • Work closely with stakeholders including, Sales teams, Business Development team, Relationship
  • Monitor proposal content to ensure compliance to RFP requirements, evaluation criteria, and technical requirements.

  • Collaboratively work with internal and external stakeholders inclusive but not limited to the Business


Development team and Marketing, the Business units, Senior Leadership Team, especially Relationship Custodians, peers etc, and negotiate solutions to achieve results.


  • Ensure communication and information is clear and professional for eliciting desired results from others to achieve organisational goals

Coaching:

  • Providing timely guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem and achieve goals e.g. Key Account Managers in Signa Academy.

Initiating action:
Taking prompt action to accomplish objectives, taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required and being proactive.

Leading through vision and values:

Communicates the importance of the brand standards, underpinning principles of the Bus Development infrastructure, translate the principles and standards into day to day activities and behaviours, guides and motivates others to take actions that support agreed practices, processes and procedures in accordance with Signa values, vision and culture.

Operational efficiency and effectiveness: Plans appropriately to agreed targets, matrices, and performance standards including fostering a culture of continuous process evaluation and improvements, optimisation of available resources and acknowledging and promoting innovative recommendations to bring more progressive and professional standards of delivery.

Business ethical conduct: champions business ethics and professional integrity, ethical behaviour and equitable organisational practices. Consciously focusses on initiatives to ensure operational continuity, depth/substance and quality of resources and effectiveness of the Bus Development infrastructure.
