JOB PURPOSE


The role is focused on winning new business and retaining existing business through the identification and qualification of sales opportunities.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with customer executives to position strategic value proposition and manage the potential prospects to closure.
  • Provide proactive, trusted thought leadership and trusted account relationship with customers.
  • Drive the sales conversation by leveraging industry expertise to be able to build knowledge of the customer.
  • Identify strategic customer pains and develop unique and compelling value propositions.
  • Actively drive the lead generation and lead qualification process by proactively engaging with existing and potential customers to understand their technical and business challenges/requirements.
  • Demonstrate how Company products/ services set would be the best fit to meet their requirements.
  • Facilitate the development of Marketing Strategy focused on building reliable brand awareness and interest.
  • Develop the customer segment sales strategy and execute on account plans to ensure that revenue targets are achieved or exceeded.
  • Prospecting, building pipeline and selling Company products/ services.
  • Leading the account teams and other internal teams to develop the accountspecific pipeline.
  • Developing commercial documentation showcasing the value proposition of the product/ services.
  • Supporting Product Owners by developing product specific Go to Market strategies, including tactics related to pricing, sales and channels campaigns, new product/service launches and Company branding.
  • Develop and manage Sales Forecast accurately, annually, and quarterly for new and existing business.
  • Govern Sales process by putting in place compliance controls.
  • Manage the identification and mitigation of actual or potential risk within products / services portfolio and provide expert advice and insights to mitigate the potential impact.
  • Enable servicing of the customer postsale by ensuring that the product teams are briefed on customerspecific requirements.
  • Maintain processes to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and turnaround time with external stakeholders.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 57 years' experience in ICT Sales.
  • Minimum 2 years is at a management level required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant Degree in IT/Business/Commerce or Engineering
  • NQF Level
  • MBA will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of Technology and Digital related solutions required.
  • IT Certification will be an advantage
  • CoBIT, ITIL, Business Analysis, Prince
  • Experience must include relevant exposure to ICT Sales/Key Account Management.
  • Proven business acumen and a successful track record of meeting sales targets, with experience in executive/ Csuite stakeholder engagement.
  • Valid Driver's license with own vehicle.
