Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Growth Specialist to join our team at Neptune.

About the Role

This is a key position that will be responsible for driving growth and revenue within our key customer accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Strategically manage a portfolio of specialty and commodity raw materials into the Plastics/Polymers market (Engineering Polymers/Packaging/PVC additives).
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Provide forecasts and budgets for each customer portfolio, with a focus on achieving budget year-on-year growth.
  • Growing Customer Base: Grow the customer base year-on-year in terms of volume, revenue, and margins.
  • Key Account Management: Manage a portfolio of key account customers, ensuring a healthy working platform aligned with division and company objectives.
  • Price Negotiations: Engage in senior-level price negotiations to secure favorable terms.
  • Promotion of Company Products: Promote company products and image to existing and potential customers.
  • Meeting Deadlines: Meet tight deadlines across the business while maintaining high-quality work standards.
Requirements
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with changes within the Polymers/Plastics markets and react accordingly.
  • Budgeting: Develop 12-month and 24-month budgets for customer portfolios.
  • Team Support: Assist the team with technical briefs and new product introductions.
  • Customer Service: Ensure customers are serviced according to their needs (pricing, communication, stock availability).
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with all support functions (customer care, finance, technical) to ensure smooth operation of the business.
