Job Title: Hyperscale Cloud Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Hyperscale Cloud Sales Specialist to join our team at iOCO. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with clients, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent our company and its Hyperscale cloud Business Unit offerings to clients and stakeholders.
  • Maximize sales performance by establishing strong relationships and gaining insight into client needs and preferences.
  • Work closely with other areas and key stakeholders within the organization to achieve sales and activity quotas and targets.
  • Generate leads and commit to customer service by building relationships and adjusting sales techniques based on interactions and results.
  • Perform incisive and insightful market and competitive research in the specialized area.
  • Understand competitive solutions and present the value of Hyperscale cloud Business Unit solutions and value proposition.
  • Reach agreed targets for Hyperscale cloud Business Unit and assist with Hyperscale Cloud Business Unit specific tenders.
  • Assist key account managers and strategic account managers with Hyperscale Cloud Business Unit specific sales or related sales actions.
  • Realize revenue and margin targets and maximize sales opportunities through connecting client needs with our offerings and solutions.
  • Approach management, decision-makers, and influencers of prospective leads or sales.
  • Generate demand by assisting clients to identify current needs and articulating how we can add value through Hyperscale Cloud Business Unit specific solutions.
  • Build solid relationships and display an understanding of the client industry, business environment, and strategy to identify current and future opportunities.
  • Develop open and effective channels of communication with all stakeholders.
  • Complete sales proposals.
Requirements:
  • Current sales experience in AWS/Hyperscale business/sales experience.
  • Experience closing corporate and enterprise-level deals.
  • Ability to analyze business opportunities and read situations well.
  • Proven success rate at levels above quotas.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to take ownership.
  • Incumbent must have proven business acumen with experience in all levels, including C-suite stakeholder engagement.
  • Sales business acumen - the skills supporting successful selling through organizational and business outcome mindset.
  • Success will require focusing on planning, leveraging tools and software development, and concentrating on business requirements.
  • Sales client engagement and management: the skills used to effectively manage and analyze the client throughout the client lifecycle, with the goal of improving client relationships and driving sales growth.
  • Success will require a detailed understanding of client needs, effective sales planning, and building trust, all while managing to client expectations.
  • Sales solution skills - the knowledge of Hyperscale cloud Business Unit offerings, client applications, use cases, and market trends and the skill to apply them to individual client and prospect situations that positions the sales team member as an expert client advisor.
  • Success will require the ability to link our offerings, including high-value services, to specific client and prospect needs and outcomes.
  • Sales pursuit - the skills and knowledge that enable a sales team member to create success by identifying and advancing opportunities at assigned prospects and clients.
  • Success will require both individual ownership as well as accountability for coordinating internal and external resources in order to close sales opportunities.
  • Understanding of general sales processes and planning for success.
