Customer Service Manager

At Clicks Schweizer-Reneke, we are seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for directing and controlling all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the effective and safe management of stock and cash, minimising shrinkage and maintaining a high standard of general housekeeping and administration.
- Train, motivate, and direct shop assistants and cashiers to fulfill their duties while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ensure sufficient staffing levels in line with the work schedule, company policies, and labour legislation.
- Resolve customer queries efficiently and effectively, adhering to the Company's policies.
- Promote the Clicks clubcard to achieve participation targets.
- Manage stock by enforcing security measures, cash controls, returns policies, and other administrative duties to minimise losses and maximise security procedures.
- Deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador, being visible and offering a friendly and professional service.
- Maintain updated knowledge on products, ranges, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification (essential)
- Mathematics and English 50% at grade 12 level (desirable)
- Retail or business management qualification (essential for external applicants)
- 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, overseeing employees in a retail/FMCG store operations environment
- Numeracy and stock management experience
- Customer service background
Estimated Salary: R350,000 - R450,000 per annum
